Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology as a pre-scientific tool of knowledge and investigation, the video Gänzlich Unerreichbar (Absolutely Unreachable) is focused on the mystery inherent in the processes of deep learning and machine learning, and the impossibility of observing the internal processes of an AI at work (black box), but only their results. The artwork is part of a larger series of works focused on the use of AI as a source of knowledge, on the way we exchange and elaborate data between men and machines, and on AI’s learning abilities.
